HubSpot set up the way your sales team will actually use it.
Most businesses buy HubSpot, configure half of it, and then watch leads leak between the form, the CRM, and the rep who was supposed to call. I fix the plumbing: setup, lead scoring, sync rules, deduplication, and reporting you can trust.
What a half-configured HubSpot portal looks like.
Everything included in the engagement.
Real numbers. Not projections.
How it works.
Portal audit
I map how leads actually move through your portal today: forms, properties, workflows, integrations, and where records go wrong. You get a written findings list.
Definitions
We agree on what a lead, an MQL, an SQL, and a customer mean for your business. Then I encode it in lifecycle stages, lead status, and scoring.
Build
Cleanup, sync-gate rules, dedup merges, workflows, and dashboards. I do the configuration myself and document each change.
Handoff and monitoring
Your team gets a walkthrough and documentation. I keep an eye on data quality and attribution in the monthly report.
Pricing for HubSpot work
HubSpot setup and cleanup fits inside the standard retainers: Starter at $1,500 a month for 15 hours, Growth at $2,500 for 30 hours, and Scale from $4,000 for 50 or more hours. Every tier is month-to-month.
If you want a one-time look before committing, ask about a fixed-fee HubSpot portal audit on the strategy call.

Common questions.
Do I need HubSpot Partner onboarding?+
No. HubSpot's paid onboarding is optional, and you don't need a solutions partner to get a working portal. I'm HubSpot Academy certified in SEO, Email Marketing, and Digital Advertising, and the work here is configuration, data, and strategy. I am not a HubSpot Partner, and I don't resell licenses.
Can you fix a messy portal?+
Yes. That's most of the work. Duplicate contacts, conflicting lifecycle definitions, broken workflows, and sync rules that overwrite good data are all fixable. I start with an audit so we know the size of the mess before touching anything.
Do you work with Salesforce too?+
Yes. A lot of HubSpot problems are really sync problems. I write the sync-gate rules that decide which system owns which field, so Salesforce stops silently overwriting HubSpot and marketing attribution survives the handoff to sales.
Which HubSpot tier do I need?+
It depends on what you need to automate. Many small teams do well on Marketing Hub Starter plus a free CRM. You need Professional when you want multi-step workflows, lead scoring, and custom reporting. I'll tell you honestly if you're paying for a tier you don't use.
Works even better together.
